Last Sunday I went to the park in Shinjuku. I had mentioned that they began to open the first flowers, in this case, the plum. The truth is that it is a site that makes you forget you're in Tokyo. It has several areas with different types of arrangements and distribution of vegetation. There are small lakes crossed by bridges, all within the serene Japanese beauty. I'm not much of domestic tourism, but I could not resist taking some pictures. I made with my phone so do not do justice to how beautiful it is the place. You have to pay 200 yen to enter, but well worth it to pay them and, further, as I have understood, thus helped to preserve the park. There are families, couples, groups of friends, etc and nobody bothers anybody. Of course, many people taking photos. I already am getting on and take pictures as if it were Japanese. I have saved on my phone several photos of my favorite shochu. Shochu is a type of drink that is like a spirit and there are a lot of graduation and others, very soft (about 20 degrees). The Philippines was the lambanog, but this one was very strong and "dangerous." I'll upload the photos another day shochu.
This is the link to photos of the park:
