Today I'll show you how to make a case for crochet or pencil case like that shown in the photo.
for this project I've used cotton yarn in bright colors, all the number 8 and a 1mm crochet hook.
First do 20 squares as shown in the photo 1. I've tried any of the pictures were the same as another, combining the different colors in different positions. Then sew each other forming a square 5x4 rectangle (Figure 2).

Now recoctamos a rectangle of felt, in my case black, in your color you want, that is a little larger than the boxes crochet rectangles (Figure 3) and sew the felt leaving each end protrudes about 5mm (Figure 4).

For cases I have done two hexagons following the pattern shown below but you could do with circles, and do the same with the rectangle, ie cut a hexagon felt it a bit larger than the hexagon crochet and sew.
Now is the time to unite all parties, putting the two hexagons on the ends and the rectangle in the center and sew inside out by the phyllite felt that we made for this purpose. Finally we put a zipper to close it and go. The result is this.
